As a growing small business, we’d love to hear from any stores or businesses interested in stocking our candles. Currently, we collaborate with a couple of local stores and barbers in Auckland who a stock a small range of our products, but we are always on looking for new opportunities.

Our candles are produced using an eco-friendly and sustainable approach, aligning with our commitment to the environment.

Our Journey

The Candle Apothecary started as one man, a plug-in stove top, and a few second-hand saucepans on the kitchen benchtop. Initially, the abundance of wax and wick choices was mind boggling, but through a year of learning, development and a lot of online research, candle making became an all-consuming passion!

Over time, we have elevated our brand by introducing custom-made boxes, meticulously designed labels, and a curated selection of popular scents. As a result, we have become a recognized name within the Auckland market scene.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

We take pride in our eco-conscious practices. All our packaging materials are 100% recyclable, and we ensure that our production waste undergoes proper recycling as well. We have also committed to planting 5 native Kauri trees a month to help offset our carbon footprint over time and support the regeneration of New Zealand's native forestry and habitats. Our goal is to achieve carbon neutrality and, ideally, even carbon positivity. These efforts enhance our overall appeal and contribute to a cleaner environment.
