What's a Phthalate and why does it matter your candles are free of them?
Phthalates used in fragrance oils, known as DEP (Diethyl Phthalate), are solvents used to extend the aromatic strength of the candle fragrance oil. the trouble is they also potentially damage the liver, kidneys, lungs, and reproductive system.
Can I order bespoke candles for an event?

What is an Apothecary?
The word Apothecary can be traced back to a Latin word for “storehouse” (apotheca), and refers in English to a retail establishment of some sort. It has gone from referring solely to the person who sells drugs or medicines to also naming the store where such goods are sold. And we believe burning candles, in a way is like the medicine when you need to relax and feel good, and so The Candle Apothecary just felt like the right name for us.
How do I stop my candle from Tunneling?
Tunneling usually occours when a candle hasn't been lit long enough to have a totally liquid layer, this then means a lip starts to form which never melts and from there your candle will tunnel, meaning you loose out on those scent oils being released from the non melted wax!
