Welcome to Our First Seasonal update
We thought long and hard about restarting our newsletters and how to make sure we were staying in touch, but not spamming. We thought seasonal was the way to go so you’ll now receive a thoughtful, scent-filled update from us every season. These newsletters are here to keep you in the loop on:
New and featured products, Upcoming events and market appearances and Candle tips and knowledge. Whether you’ve been with us from our first five candles or just found us at a market – welcome!
Masculine Soaps: You asked, we did it
They may no longer be new – but they’re still unlike anything else on the shelves.
Our cold-pressed soap range was created because we couldn’t find what we wanted: a soap that was bold, grounded, and complementary to your cologne, not competing with it.
The scent profiles match the Candle Apothecary energy – earthy, spicy, clean – and they’ve become a crowd favourite for a reason.
The Mediterranean Leather body bar is perfect for in the shower or next to the sink. Our Exfoliating bar has the wonderful scent of Caribbean Tobacco and is excellent for gently removing the dead skin buildup, and our Cedarwood Shave bar offers a low foam glide that makes shaving a breeze!

Candle Knowledge Corner: What’s “Melt Memory”?
The first burn is crucial for setting the "memory" of the candle, determining how it will burn each time. It's recommended to burn the candle long enough for the wax to melt across the entire top, which typically takes 2-4 hours.
Where we're going to be
Over the winter we cut back a bit on attending markets and events due to the inconsistent weather, with that being said though we are booked in for the following:
Smales Farm Market - 9th June, 13th July, 10th August
Takapuna Matariki Market 21st June, Hurstmere Road.
If we attend anything else we'll update our social media so keep an eye out.
