Latest from The Candle Apothecary - No. 4

Hi everyone

I'm really excited to share with you a big update that has happened here at The Candle Apothecary.  Our first year was spent developing our scents and ultimately making sure they were enjoyed by you all. We have always loved the scents we produce and have devoted a lot of time to getting them right. The packaging has always been something I has never 100% happy with that is until now!

New look

We are so incredibly excited with our new elevated look and we hope you love it as much as we do. We truly believe it has made our candles something that wouldn't look out of place on a shop shelf alongside the more established brands out there, but with the added advantage of our more unique scent style.

New names

Along with the refreshed look and feel we've also made the decision to move away from our candle 'numbers' and to embrace a more descriptive name for them. Over the next few months both the name and numbers will be displayed on the website, but the numbers will be removed at the end of July.

Smoked Whiskey & Leather (No. 1)

Pomelo, Dragon Fruit & Amber (No. 2)

Cinnamon Cranberry & Bayberry (no. 3)

Old Books (No. 4)

Tobacco & Clove (No. 5)

Orange Clove & Pine (No. 6) – We had decided to make this a seasonal release available between November and January.

New scent releases and scent development

If you have seen us at a recent market, you may have noticed we had a couple of new candles in slightly different jars. These candles were, what you could call our market research supplies of our two newest scents, Mediterranean Leather and Carribean Tobacco.

Whilst we love the mad science and alchemy that goes with bending a new scent, both these scents stand well on their own. We wanted to give them the opportunity to shine in their own light, the fact that we have found myself burning them at home almost exclusively for the past few weeks to me proves that point perfectly!  These will also be coming in our new jars and boxes.

We haven't stopped blending though and have a few more lined up to release over the coming months.

Website Refresh

With our candles finally looking the way we want them, we are going to also be spending the next few weeks and months elevating the look of the website. We will be changing the photos and generally giving everything the once over, so if you have any feedback about improvements you'd like to see we'd love to hear it.

Social Media

We're the first to admit that social media isn’t our strong point (something you would have thought someone with a tech background would be better at!), but we're also working on that.  You can definitely help us too, tag and @ us in pictures of your candle, tell your friends and followers about The Candle Apothecary’s unique scents.

That's all for now, but as always thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the on going support. We hope you're going to love the changes as much as we do, and as always, we love hearing from you so feel free to get in touch.

Thanks
