A Kiwi Christmas Surprise
We’ll admit something.
When we launched Kiwi Christmas, we weren’t entirely sure how it would land.
Our original Christmas candle has always leaned into the Northern Hemisphere tradition: pine trees, spices, and that classic cosy winter Christmas feeling. Here, Christmas smells a little different.
The response to Kiwi Christmas was incredible and it quickly became one of the most talked-about candles we’ve released.
So thank you for embracing that one with us. It turns out Christmas on the beach smells pretty good.
Something Warming Is On The Way
Whilst Beach Bonfire has stopped (uness we can find some replacement scent oils for this discontinued ones to bring it back...) we have been finalising our next Limited Edition.
We won’t give the game away just yet, but we can offer a few clues:
Warm spice A hint of sweetness Something dark and comforting A scent that wouldn’t feel out of place in a dimly lit bar on a cold evening
We’ve just finished the final polish, and looking forward to bringing it to you soon.
Keep an eye on your inbox and socials over the next little while.
Candle Care: Looking After Jar Candles
Our candles live in jars, and a few small habits will make them burn better and last longer.
Let the first burn reach the edge The first burn should melt the wax all the way to the sides of the jar. This helps prevent tunnelling later.
Burn for 2–4 hours at a time Long enough for an even melt pool, but not so long that the jar overheats.
Keep the wick centred and trimmed If the wick leans while the wax is soft, gently move it back to the centre before it sets. And make sure the wick is nicely trimmed before you light it
These simple steps help your candle burn cleaner, throw scent better, and last longer.
Until next time: keep the blankets close, the stock pot simmering, and the candle burning.
